In an emotional Virginia huddle, one of the players shouted out to his comrades, "I'd rather be in THIS huddle than the other one!" When I heard about this in the postgame remarks, I absolutely loved the subtle power of this sentiment beyond the obvious "we are in this together" rallying cry.
For me, the real power in this statement is that it embraces reality. When you argue with reality, you suffer. When you deny reality, you cannot see clearly. After all, what is -- IS. Your unwillingness to accept reality, keeps you stuck. Your lamenting that things should be different disempowers you.
